Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 5, 2026

Queensway ("Queensway", "we", "us", "our") is the online store operated by Queensway. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit queensway.shop, place an order, or communicate with us — and how we use, share, and protect it. Our store is hosted by Shopify, which enables us to provide our services to you. By using the store, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

Information we collect

Contact and order details: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and the contents and history of your orders, returns, and exchanges.
Payment information: payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Shopify Payments or PayPal). We receive confirmation of payment and the payment method type; we never see or store your full card number.
Account information: if you create an account — your login details, preferences, and settings.
Communications: the content of messages you send us, for example through customer support.
Device and usage information: your IP address, browser and device type, and how you navigate the store, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How we collect it

We collect information directly from you (when you order, create an account, or contact us), automatically through cookies and similar technologies as you use the store, and from service providers — such as payment, analytics, and shipping partners — who process it on our behalf.

How we use your information

Fulfilling your orders: processing payment, arranging shipping and delivery, handling returns, exchanges, and warranty claims, and sending you service messages such as order and dispatch confirmations.
Customer support: answering your questions and resolving issues with your order.
Improving the store: understanding how the store is used so we can improve products, pages, and service.
Marketing: sending promotional emails or texts if you've opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing message — and showing you relevant advertising.
Security and fraud prevention: protecting the store, our customers, and our business from fraudulent or malicious activity, and keeping checkout secure.
Legal compliance: meeting our legal obligations and responding to valid legal requests.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies that are essential for the store to work (like keeping items in your cart and completing checkout), analytics cookies that help us understand store performance, and advertising cookies that may share your activity with advertising partners (such as Meta and Google) to show you relevant ads on other platforms. Depending on where you live, this advertising activity may be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising" that you have the right to opt out of — you can do so through the Shopify Privacy Portal at privacy.shopify.com, by adjusting your browser or device settings, or by contacting us at support@queensway.shop.

How we share information

We share personal information only for legitimate business purposes:

Shopify, which hosts our store and processes checkout;
Service providers performing services on our behalf — payment processing, order fulfilment and shipping carriers, customer support tooling, email delivery, and analytics;
Marketing and advertising partners, as described in the cookies section above, who use information under their own privacy policies;
Within our corporate group, where needed to operate the business;
For legal reasons, to comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal process, enforce our terms, or protect the rights and safety of our customers and business;
In a business transaction, such as a merger, financing, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

Shopify's role

Because our store is hosted by Shopify, Shopify collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the store in order to provide and improve its services, and may do so as an independent controller for certain enhanced features that draw on your interactions with Shopify-powered stores generally. To learn how Shopify uses personal information, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy; depending on where you live, you can also exercise privacy rights over that data through the Shopify Privacy Portal at privacy.shopify.com.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, or opt out of targeted advertising. You can exercise any of these rights by emailing support@queensway.shop; we may need to verify your identity first, and you may use an authorised agent where the law allows. We will never treat you differently for exercising a privacy right. If you're unhappy with our response, you may appeal by contacting us again, or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — for example the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or your supervisory authority in the EEA or UK.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed to fulfil orders, provide support and warranty service, meet legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we recommend against sending sensitive information over unsecured channels.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in Canada, the United States, and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on recognised safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK equivalent, unless the destination has been deemed to provide adequate protection.

Children

Our store is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party links

The store may link to third-party websites and platforms we don't control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to review.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and operational reasons. We'll post the updated policy here, revise the "Last updated" date, and provide any notice required by law.
